September Focus: Fools!

From Dunce to Jester to Bard, each of the Fool Archetypes has something powerful to teach us. Learn the skills of each of the fools over the course of this Five Week Training.

October: Magic Vocality!

There are fairies in your voice, did you know that? Its true. Plus trolls and dragons and mermaids. They bring transformation and can be powerful with your influence.

November: Story Listening

Listening is the forgotten third part of storytelling. There's the story and its telling, but we forget that none of it works unless the listener is actually listening!

Welcome to the Full Restorative Storytelling Training

In this ongoing young adult version of RS, we learn to use storytelling and story listening to make real change.

A powerful group of change-making teenagers will meet weekly to learn new storytelling skills that will inform their social fitness, personal interest and role in society.

Plus, our teen storytellers will learn new techniques from a variety of teachers!

Restorative Storytelling for Young Adults has a Full Faculty!

FAQ

HOW IS Restorative Storytelling: Teen Council STRUCTURED?

  • The council meets on Mondays at 7:OOPM ET and Wednesdays at 5:00PM ET.

  • We meet at a password protected Zoom call. Calls last an average of 60 minutes.

  • Council Members receive access to a forum as well as an invitation to our Slack Community where they can share and connect with each other.

CAN MY CHILD DO THE CAMP COMPLETELY ON THEIR OWN?

Understory Council is designed so that your child can engage independently, and we encourage their finding their own agency in accomplishing their projects.

WHAT IF WE MISS A MEETING?

All of our sessions are recorded, and we connect at our Forum and at Slack.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR THIS COURSE?

There are semi-weekly 60 minute Zoom sessions and projects to work on in between. We also invite our members to be our apprentices in other courses. The time commitment is up to you!

WHY IS THERE "LIMITED ENROLLMENT" ON THE COURSE?

David and Meredith directly communicate with and support children through the entire experience. Because of this, and because we want to give the requisite attention to our participants, we are keeping the numbers limited.

CAN TWO OR MORE CHILDREN TAKE THE INTERACTIVE COURSE UNDER ONE REGISTRATION?

For our interactive courses, one registration is for a single child. Due to the high-level of interaction with the students, David and Meredith will be supporting children in their practice, discovery and development over the course.

IS THERE A SIBLING DISCOUNT FOR THE INTERACTIVE COURSE?

Please contact Meredith if finances are a concern. We sincerely try to be inclusive so that Spinners who wish to, can join! [email protected].

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

You can cancel your subscription at any time in your Teachable profile settings.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS?

Email us at [email protected] any time, and we will be happy to help.
