Three Towns Storytelling Together!
September through December will focus on leadership skills fostered through storytelling. We use tools from the Restorative Storytelling curriculum, like Presence, Open Response and Story Listening to introduce emergent leaderships skills.
We believe these storytellers are leaders, and we will nurture their leadership by introducing skills and then giving opportunities to practice these skills in community.
In this semester we will give each storyteller the chance to identify themselves and step forward as unique leaders with something to offer. They will practice holding the floor and guiding the group by way of their imagination, communication and ideas.
Deliverables for this semester are:
Listening with Empathy and Understanding, Building on content rather than replacing it, Embodied decision-making, and Community development through Connective Language
